A Seed

by Brian

A seed is planted with the kindness of two strangers.

One is a man, caught between the pain of a past life and the new.

The other is a woman, caught between the thought of life and stagnation.

They love each other though they don’t know how to admit it.

Can this be real they ask?

Could this be what they have been looking for in the past.

The seed is thirsty, it needs water to grow.

The seed is lonely, it needs a Mother and a Father.

The shadow of love is in a box under the seed.

Can they move the seed and open the box?

Do they fear the box?

Listen to me my love, my sweet, hold the seed and I will open the box.

Let us feed the seed, and ourselves.

Grow into a tree.

Make life. Make love.

No time for hate and fear, life is almost over.

Make the best of what little we have left.

Don’t fear, for we may fall.

We don’t need echo’s, we need freedom.

Make mistakes, make solutions.

Be the people of whom we are.

We are the masters of our world.
